Speaking of KEXP, I'm blogging from the station as we speak.  I'm interning for Kevin Cole right now, helping him out with the playlist, finding music etc. 

It's cool cuz I get to listen to tons of different music I normally wouldn't hear.  It's mostly indy rock, which is fine, but I really want to start listening to old funk records.  I need to find drums for my beats, chop up my own drums so that is on the agenda after I get out of here.  I'm gonna hit up some record stores and find some CDs with dope drums.  I'm kind of pumped to go digging.  The sun is out, it's beautiful and it's my day off. 

I would buy vinyl but I don't have a record player, that will come soon enough.  I'm actually planning on buying a couple turntables and getingt into DJing.  I know it will help me out a grip with my beats. 

Ok everyone, please don't forget about my show this Wed. August 5th at Studio 7 (110 S. Horton St., in the SODO district).  It's really gonna be fun.  My homie Jay Battle is spinning for me. 



He is mad cool and is also a great DJ.  I'm pumped for the show, so come out!
