Masterful
I finished DaVinci Code earlier today and it was phenomenal! I know that book was hot in like '03 so I deserve a huge late pass for this but then again, I'm talkin about books, not music...I don't even know if there is late passes for books. If that was the case, I would get the ULTIMATE FAIL LATE PASS for just now digging into the book I have coming next, Les Miserables.

chea you know this is about to be epic!
Anyways back to DaVinci Code. Every once in a while I encounter a piece of art that is so great I can only describe it as masterful. The movie Revolutionary Road, Kanye's Graduation, The Who- Who's Next? are some examples. I would definitely put DaVinci Code right up there in the masterful category. Dan Brown truly keeps the reader hanging at the end of every chapter. You could easily read the whole thing in only a few sittings.
The book gets better with each chapter, so you never want it to end. I feel every book should aspire to be that great, so the reader never wants it to end. The ending was so touching. I mean, this is a modern thriller/suspense novel and it still has a wonderful ending that just left me astounded. My only gripe is I finished it right before starting my work shift. So it was an immediate switch from beautiful art to cooking stupid sausage sandwiches. I cannot wait til I don't have to do that stuff any more.
Now on to Victor Hugo.
