I can't sleep right now so that means it's as good a time as ever to blog.  I was tryin to sleep early so I could get a good start on the day tomorrow but it's lookin like that aint gonna happen. 

I had a show last Saturday so I spent all week gettin ready for that.  For the first time, I decided to rock over one of my own beats, so I had only 4 days to write a song to the beat.  Unfortunately I only got 2 verses and the hook written, and the only part I memorized was the hook.  What I ended up doing was freestyling during the verses and spitting the hook.  I was actually tryin to sing on the hook but...I dunno...let's just say it is way different singing on stage than it is rapping.  I couldn't really sing it when it came time.

The show ended up being weird though.  It was a Run For Life type event to help cure cancer.  I was performing for all the people running / walking the race.  So most of my audience was hecka far away, walking laps around this track.  Ha I don't know how I end up getting involved with this stuff.  Shouts to Rudy of Rudy and the Rhetoric for hookin me up with the show tho!
