I recently finished the book Life of Pi, which I really liked.  It is a story about a kid stranded on a lifeboat, but it is also an analogy for religion.  Overall it's great and I would highly recommend it. 




I'm fed up right now though because my next book is taking forever to get to me.  I ordered Pride and Prejudice and I'm really excited about it, even though it might be kind of tough to get through.  It's a classic and although it won't be a breeze, I think I'll definitely get alot out of it.  I hear it is kind of a comedy so hopefully it's still funny even though it's 2009, years and years later from when it was originally published.  

I got it through half.com, and I made sure to order it far in advance.  I expected to have it by the time I finished Life of Pi, or at least soon after.  Unfortunately I checked my PO Box for it on Tuesday and it wasn't there.  I wrote them about it, telling them I need to get it.  They had the nerve to tell me it would be there by June 5th.  What the hell is June 5th?!  I'm not tryin to wait all the way til June 5th to get my book.  That seems like an eternity!  If I had known it would take this long, I definitely would have gone to a bookstore and bought it.  That way I would have it right there, on the spot. 

I will still be using half.com (you can't beat the prices) but I won't buy any more books through that particular merchant.
