Lately I've had my mind on the Kindle.  You know what that is, right?  It's the electronic book that is quickly growing in popularity.  It is sold on Amazon and what you do is buy a Kindle and then you can download books onto it.  At first I didn't get it because I thought it was about the size of an iPhone.  But then it kept increasing in popularity and I realized I better check this thing out and learn more about it.  I even thought about buying one, and that was before I had ever even seen it.

Turns out I walk into work today and one of my co-workers has one.  She was washing dishes and spent like 3 minutes describing it to me (I kept asking questions about it cuz I was so interested).  Finally our boss, who was sitting right there says, "Why don't you just show it to him, you have it in your bag right?"  We didn't want to get it out cuz we were on the clock but she let us anyways.  That was definitely good lookin out on my boss' part!



The Kindle looks great.  I was absolutely wrong about it bein the size of an iPhone, it is actually the size of a paperback book.  It is clean and gorgeous.  I feel like it's one of the next big gadgets and best of all it's going to bring reading back into popularity amongst young people.  You can download tons of different books for free, including many classics.  The catch is it's mad expensive, about $350.
