I'm abouts to go to work.  I don't start today until 2:30pm so that is nice, I usually get there way earlier.  I just bought some new shoes for work too.  They were $50 which killed me cuz it feels ridiculous to invest money in my job.  I already don't like being at work that much, so why would I spend 50 bones on something that I can only use at a place I'm not too fond of (don't get me wrong, it's not that I hate my job, it's jus there are other things I'd rather be doin).  It ended up being a good investment tho cuz these kicks are super comfortable.  It was definitely money well spent.

The whole thing started a couple days ago when I was walking to work in the morning and it was raining outside.  There musta been a hole in my old shoes cuz as soon as I stepped out the door one of my socks was wet.  It is a lousy feeling to be on your way to work and your socks are already wet.  That means you have to go the rest of the day with wet socks, and you didn't step in a puddle or anything, you did absolutely nothing to deserve this.  My socks were so comfortable when I put them on in the morning and 20 minutes later they ruined. 

The problem is solved now though, as my new kicks keep my feet toasty.
