The Journey East

I'm thinking I'm gonna try to make it out to Spokane again.  Some of you may remember what happened last time, the plane I was on got snowed out.  What I mean is, I was sitting on the plane but it turned around before we even pulled up to the runway.

It was dumping snow las night but I'm hoping most of it melted.  Besides, the major problem is the snowfall in Spokane, not Seattle.  I guess everything depends on how the weather is over there on the east side of the state.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to stay up on the blogging as much when I'm at my parent's crib.  This is cuz my mom always has tons of windows open on her computer.  Granted, she has tons of stuff to do and she's very busy, but I always tell her you really shouldn't have 20 different window open at once.  These windows are the reason why her computer is so slow!

This doesn't seem like a big deal, as I could just close them down and then blog like I never blogged before.  The problem is, she never wants me to close down anything.  Somehow, every one of those 20 windows are vital.  If I was to close one of those windows...who knows what would happen?  The world would come crashing down.  But if she continues keeping 20 windows open, the hard drive will crash down.

Which is worse though?  I'll choose the world over the hard drive any day.

I never close down any of her precious windows.  I just work on her super slow computer until I'm sick of waiting for pages to load up.  There comes a time when ya gotta ask yourself,

"Is this web page that great, that I'm willing to wait 3 minutes to see it.  Is there gonna be anything eye-opening or mind-expanding or breath taking on this particular web page or will there just be more disposable dribble that I'm gonna forget about five minutes from now when I go upstairs for a glass of milk?"

Unless you're browsing taybot3.com, the websites just aren't breath-taking.
