It's my day off today and so far I spent the whole day tryin to perfect my drum sounds.  I'm tryin to have filthy 808s and kick drums.  I want them to sound like Pharrell's do on the song Blue Magic.  That dude Pharrell is soo good with the drums.  It's not that I particularly love his programming more than other producers, but sometimes he has these sounds (on his kicks mostly) that are super dope.

I'm sitting here excruciatingly wracking my brain tryin to think of a way to get my drums to sound like that.  I know I got a good enough program to do it and his drum kits can't be that much better than mine.  Not enough to make such a huge difference anyways.  Nah, it's only a matter of time and hecka thinking before my kick drums crack like that. 

I have alot of days off this week which is coo cuz I get to spend mad time on the beats but then again, it's not crackin cuz I'm tryin to save up to cop a computer.  Sitting at home making beats gets me no closer to getting that computer.

What can I do though?  I wasn't scheduled for many hours and sometimes that's just the way things go.
