Tonight's show at The Vera Project was off the hook!  I was rockin the mic after this new group called Shankbone.  They was pretty nervous cuz it was their very first show.  One dood even asked me if I had any advice and all I could say is,


"Man...first show...jus do what ya do.  It can't possibly go that bad homie it's only your very first show!"


They rocked it too.  Granted it was a crowd full of their homies but that don't matter cuz they really put it down.  They had some crackin beats and the crowd was screamin their heads off.  The best part was when they had the drums goin with the 808s, then one dude pulled out the electric guitar and started layin down the melody.  It was sick and the crowd was putty in their hands.





After their set it looked like the whole crowd might jus bounce out and celebrate Shankbone's success.  But I knew it was up to me to hold it down.  I got on the mic and alot of them stuck around.  This was my first solo show where I really feel like I rocked it, rather than jus holdin it down nice, if that makes sense.
