A couple nights ago I helped out the homie Scribes by working merch for him while he opened for the Gza (yes, the Gza of Wu-Tang fame).  It was a pretty dope show, but the only wack thing was at one point the crowd booed the homie DJ Swervewon cuz he dropped the Milli beat.  I guess everyone thought Swerve was playin Weezy, but he was actually playin the KRS-One freestyle over that beat.  Damn, they didn't even give the song a chance, just immediate hating!


This message goes out to all wackass crowds:


Unless the DJ does something super wack that is actually deserving of it, DON'T BOO THE DJ!  He most likely reps hip hop way harder than you, has payed way more dues than you and he's probly bout to play something you will actually like, if ya just give it a chance.


Right there at the merch booth, selling Gza's gear, was a woman and her daughter.  It was weird tho cuz the daughter looked practically the same age as her moms.  Her mom was faded and was getting pissed the whole night, telling all the guys not to look at her daugher. 


I snuck a look tho and took a flick cuz she was rockin these funny illumination glasses.





I bet ya never heard of illumination glasses.  Neither had I until about 15 seconds ago (I just made it up the term).
