Library Woes

Las week I got an email notice saying my Michelangelo book is mad overdue and I owe $25 on it.

25 bucks!!??  What the hell is that.  That is not how a library is supposed to do it.  Aren't library's supposed to be about the people??  How can they charge cats $25 for an overdue book??  That's like some There Will Be Blood type stuff, and I never even seen that movie.

I had been knowin my book was overdue, but I figured I would just finish it, pay whatever I owed on it, and then quit getting books outta the library cuz you only get them for a month anyways.  Check this out, you seldom even get to renew books.   If anybody in the city wants to get that book after you, you can't renew the book cuz it's they're turn to have it.

Forget that tho, like the classic skit from Raekwon's Cuban Linx joint, "when I got a book, I got a book..."

"Right on..."

Of course you gotta replace the underlined words, with other expletives but I won't go into the details.

let's face it, part II aint droppin' anytime
soon

The point is, if I got a book, I'm tryin' to keep it til I'm done.  I'm not tryin' to drop it back off at the library, then wait for homie to finish his turn, (and trust completely that he will return it on time) so I can finish where I left off.

Nah, I get into books man...they affect me.  I gotta finish the thing.  So this email had me all shook, I thought I owed them 25 bones for a library book.  I went in there and you know what they said?  They told me I only had a $6 fee actually, then they still took the book from me and my 6 bucks.

I've been HAD!

Sall good tho, they the suckas.  I'm never gonna use their book services again.  From now on it's Half.com all the way.  You can get the illest literature ever written for like 85 cents.  Cats don't even know.
