I just got done watching both Obama's acceptance speech as well as McCains.  I don't follow the news too much and I honestly aint even seen McCain speak til now.  I have to say I can't believe how wack dude is at the speeches.  I actually expected him to be somewhat better considering who he's up against.


He looks pretty creepy and awkward.  It reminded me of my first few weeks in Speech class.  When kids would give a couple speeches on a topic of their choice, yaknow just to get the jitters out. 


That's dope cuz it makes it way more likely that Obama will smash!  Anyways everyone is talkin' about the election so I wanna show ya somethin' else to be excited about. 


It's a video of Lupe Fiasco recieving his award for goin' gold.  What's really dope about it is the stuff he says in his acceptance speech (who needs an Obama acceptance speech when we got Lu's speech right here, which is equally inspiring to me). 


I never even been a huge Lupe fan or nothin', but I definitely respect him as a lyricist and I think it's a real hopeful thing to see some different type of hip-hop do so well commercially!






Ya see, regardless of if you feelin' The Cool or not, even if his music don't have that certain "edge" to it that makes you go "yeaaah" and even if his rhymes are kinda Walt Disney steez...don't this video put a smile on your face?
