First Fiddy's House, Now This

I was just at Barnes and Nobles (I love that store) and I tried to read an article in this film magazine about Steven Spielberg.  I aint never gonna try to read an article out of a film magazine again.  They talk really high class or somethin' and I am never quite sure what they're talkin' about.  I don't even know what alot of the words they throw around mean.

I think the problem is these writers are really good at watching movies but kinda lousy at writing about them.  Or maybe I'm just not deep enough...

Speaking of films, there was a crazy fire at Universal Studios L.A on Sunday.  Check this out:

The fire destroyed the courthouse square from "Back to the Future," and the famous clock tower that enabled Michael J. Fox's character to travel through time was damaged, fire officials said.

Yo didn't that clock tower burn down in the second Back to the Future movie?  That's kinda weird.  They say reality is stranger than fiction but I guess this a case of reality being the same as fiction.

Universal Studios fire

who needs cnn?  Taybot3.com is the source for news now

Firefighters walk past debris after approximately 400 firefighters from the Los Angeles area battled a huge fire on the backlot of Universal Studios June 1, 2008 in Universal City, Calif. The fire consumed at least one building, the "King Kong" exhibit, several movie sets, and damaged a video vault.

NBC Universal President and Chief Operating Officer Ron Meyer talks to the press at Universal Studios in Los Angeles Sunday, June 1, 2008. Roughly 40,000 to 50,000 videos and reels were damaged in the video vault, but there are duplicates stored in a different location, said Meyer.
this is a really bummed out movie director

p.s. i know i am making light of this situation but nobody was hurt so it should be all good.
