Portage Bay Berrys the Competition
I hope everyone had a dope 3 day weekend! Mine was off the chains, I gotta say. Saturday night it was straight to Nectar for the Prince Vs. Michael Party with DJs Indica Jones and Dave Paul.
So how did I end up at the Prince Vs. Michael Party? I'm really not sure. I guess it was just the only thing me and a couple friends could think of to do. I mean really, I knew of a dope hip hop show crackin off that night but sometimes you're kickin' it with people who you know aint really tryin to watch a hip hop show. Instead they're just tryin to get their dance and drink on and really that's all good with me.
The next day I had Street Sounds at 6pm of course. Me and the rest of company held it down proper like we always do. Here's a pic of me rockin my newest gear.
Aight I'll concede it is actually just me sportin' DJ B-Mello's Kanye shades. One thing to take note of is they real shades, they aint some fake plastic I-Won-These-At-Chuck-E-Cheese's glasses.
Another thing to take note of is the homie DJ Earthquake who held it down 4 me by taking the photo. Earthquake is the shit and he gotta dope radio show that you can peep at live365.com/stations/quake551.
I think it's hella supporting the competition for me to advertise someone elses radio show and I'm not supposed to do that cuz I'm BLOODTHIRSTY!!!
Sunday night I checked out the Blu show at Chop Suey of course and that was crackin'. I didn't have to work Monday so I could stay out as late as I wanted on Sunday night. Too bad I couldn't find anything poppin' except sitting in the homie Scribe's car talking about this damn hip-hop game.
And I gotta give an extra big shout to my homie Paminator who was in town for the weekend. She bought me the bomb breakfast at this spot I never been to called Portage Bay Cafe.
They have crackin' french toast and to make it way, way better they have a berry bar that you could just go to as much as you want and cover your french toast in a mountain of berries. But you know what they say, a picture is worth 3,000 berries:
