As most of you know.  Saturday was beautiful outside.  It was mad sunny and nice. 







Like most people, I love hot days.  There is one thing that irks me about them tho.  The only thing I don't like about warm days is coffee don't taste nearly as good. 



I love coffee and a few weeks ago this lady that owns a dope coffee shop (shouts to Herkimer) told me coffee tastes way better on rainy days and it's not all in ya head.  It's not just cuz it's cold out and you think something warm tastes better.  Apparently there is a chemical in coffee that comes out in the rain and cold, thus giving your cup of joe even more flava. 




Ever since she told me that, I've liked the rain way more, cuz I know I can at least have a bomb cup of coffee.  During the summer tho, when it's all hot out.  I usually don't fucks with coffee unless it's like 7 or 8am (this is way early by my standards...I know some of yall got jobs where ya gotta be out the crib by 5 and that is jus crazy to me).



On Saturday tho I was kinda annoyed cuz it was too hot to get a coffee and the homie Michael told me there is such thing as iced coffee.  I been knowin about iced lattes, frappucinos etc. but I didn't really know you could get regular iced drip, and drip is all I sip. 



Actually I think in the back of my mind I knew you could get iced drip, but I hadn't really grasped the concept...until now!



I went into Herkimer and sure enough they made me a crackin iced drip!  It was bomb.  I had the cream goin on, the sugar, even a lil vanilla.  I put more flavor in it then I do a normal coffee cuz the ice cubes water it down a little. 




it looks like a latte or some type of complicated, Xpensive
drink right? well it's NOT, it's just a drip



The best part is, it's still regular coffee so it's got hecka caffeine which I need to keep me goin' (and I won't fuck with energy drinks... Red Bull gets no love....Monster gets even less love) and all this for under $2.00.



Now I got my new joint for the summer.  So if you see me on the street with a Taybot/Phil&Numberman CD in one hand and the iced coffee in the other...cop the music and we can also chop it up about iced drip!
