This Is Why I'm Hot (That Title In No Way Relates to the Following Post)
Yesterday I was real pumped cuz I thought I was about to finish the Taybot/Phil&Numberman Mixtape. I was fully ready for the cuts & scratches to be laid down and then move onto the process of mastering the CD.
Well I did get the scratches, no problem. My homie finished it jus like he promised he would. Unfortunately I took it all over to Numberman's crib so we could finish everything up and we realized the cuts are DEFINITELY NOT UP TO PAR!

You see the kuts need to be at least at par 5 but right now we are in the range of, umm I'll
estimate 8
This is no dis to homie who put them down, cuz he did his best and he is still hella coo. He just aint had practice with scratching in a minute I suppose. He does make hot beatz no doubt.
Sometimes, for a musician or any artist I suppose, you finish a particular project and then you gotta sit there and try to convince yaself it is tight.
Well if that's the case, if you're having to try and convince yourself it sounds good, chances are whatever you have created is NOT THAT TIGHT...
That's what I was dealin' with this morning. I was hoping with all my might that we was done with the scratches but deep down I knew there was more work to do.
Sall good tho I'ma try to bang it out and get this stuff done. I been predicting a late-April release and I'm stickin widit like Cray-zee-Glue.
