Mixtape in the Cupboard

I'm mad tired right now.  I been super busy promoting March Badness (my show this Thursday, hopefully yall already know bout that tho) and tryin' to finish up the Taybot/Phil&Numberman Mixtape

To the casual observer it may look like I'm on my grizzle, about to make some moves, and too the in-depth observer it probly is obvious I'm on my grizzle.

Well regardless of which category you fall in, you are right!

I must say I'm pleased with the way the new mixtape is turning out.  One thing I have always believed in is having a dope record is by far the most important thing for musicians.  This is cuz hot shows, while fun to be at, are momentary and really good music undeniably stands the test of time.

Plus, if cats is feelin' your record, chances are they'll be feelin your live show even more.

Basically, now that I'm hecka confident in my new record...even when I have a wack show I can feel secure in the fact that my record remains hot.

Remember that one book Indian in the Cupboard?  That joint where the toys come to life and change in the middle of the night...

Unlike those magical toys, a hot record does not change in the middle of the night.  It stays hot.  Regardless of if I put on a wack show and run outta breath or I rip it down, the record remains filthee.
