Happy Birthday Mom!



In case ya couldn't tell, it's my mother's birthday.  It sucks that I couldn't be with her but I hear she's havin' a good day so that is nice. 



Coincidentally, it's also the anniversary of this guy's passing:

Altho that is an ill pic, with all the colors and everything.  I gotta say my moms is prettier. 


In addition to all this crazy stuff falling on today, it's also Daylight Savings Time.  I love daylight savings time cuz we get another hour of sunlight.  For some reason that is real important to me. 


I like to think there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's way easier for me to believe in that philosophy when there is light during a longer part of the day.


The one thing I hate tho is how soon we have the longest day of the year.  It seems like that day comes hecka early in the summer and from then on out, you know the days just gonna get shorter and shorter.  I wish that shit happened in August at least.
