Street Sounds was ill this week.  We really are pushing local music cuz of Blue Scholars 5 day event called The Program. 

Maybe I will be on the bill for The Program: Part II, but for now at least I get to play local artists and chop it up with them. 

Sir Mix A Lot- Bang It In My Ride  Nah this aint some new Mix A Lot shit, it's some old stuff that B-Mello had that never got released.  Mix A Lot really goes in on this one and it makes me realize why he blew up.

Kublakai- All Else Fails  Damn Kubla really stepped his game up since las time I heard him.  I gotta admit I wasn't feelin' dude at first but this joint is crackin.  If the rest of his new album is nice as this then he's in a good situation.

Grynch- The Life I Chose  Grynch is the homie and this joint bangs.  Sabzi laced the beat.  This song is heat and Grynch even said it wouldn't be on his upcoming album, which makes me real excited for his new album. 

Can-U hit the studio and performed a live song.  This was coo cuz we never have live performances at Street Sounds (excluding freestyles).  Dude killed it.  Definitely catch him at The Program this Wednesday. 

Also, big shouts to DJ Earthquake who came thru the studio to bless us with local gems.  Who is also one of the only important people who peeps my blog....
