Street Sounds this week was comedy.  I was kinda in a weird mood but its all good cuz the show was still crackin'. 

No rappers swung thru but we had DJ Sage, who is way cooler than most rappers I know. 

He put together an ill set and...the moment you all been waiting for....my picks for cuts of the week:

Saigon f/ Jigga- Come On Baby Remix  This song is heat, but we known that.  Add Hov to the mixture and it only gets iller.  Jay is my favorite rapper and all, but why does he gotta say "It's Hov baby" in the Austin Powers voice???

The Parker Brothaz- I'm A Star  Parker Brothers are a real dope local group makin' music for the people to party to.  B-Mello thinks they gonna blow but only time will tell...

Statik Selektah f/ Big Shug- Punchout  With such a filthy beat that samples the video game Mike Tyson's Punchout, how can you not feel this shit?  If nothing else, ya get that nostalgic vibe that makes ya wanna knock out that skinny mofo in Fight 1. 

Shouts to all the cats at 206 Proof!  For those who aint know, this is the spot to talk Seatown hop.  (Ya see I'm a poet without tryin).

We was choppin it up about this forum on the air.  I called it a waste of time, and that's what it is, but I still can't help gettin on there.  It's habit yadig?
