KEXP Street Sounds Update! July 29
Hopefully yall can hear the following words in the voice of world famous DJ Drama (he is the one who did the drop we play all the time now):

Lemme run down the hottest joints of the show...just remember, the following is the opinion of Taybot only and it don't necessarily reflect the opinions of KEXP or DJ B-Mello...but don't front we all know my word is truth!
Grynch f/ Geologic & Portia- Summer Time
I declare this the Northwest Summer Time Banger of '07. Grynch been a
triple threat lately, killin it with the new joints, rippin sets and
getting ink. Geo does his thing and Portia gives the joint that feel
good vibe that it needs.
Grieves f/ Mr. Lif- Irreversible Ya know it's a good time for the 206 when another local cut gets mentioned as one of the top joints. Grieves new album, Irreversible, just dropped and his record release party is this Thursday at Nectar Lounge.
Grieves put alot of work into this cd and the result is fire. Also,
Mr. Lif kills his verse, which I think shows mad respect for Grieves,
cuz dude didn't come lazy at all.
Here is somethin funny that happened during the show:
B left the room for a bit and I was in charge of the board. I can use Serrato fine enough (for those who aint technically proficient, Serrato is computer program for DJs), the only problem was I couldn't find any joints to play that hadn't been spun earlier.
I ended up dropping a few instrumentals in a row...that was all I could think of to do.
Then
I got on the mic and started saying those instrumentals wasn't a
mistake, I just wanted to drop some beats for all the mcs out there
listening to get their flow on.
On the real, I think I pulled it off nice.
