Street Sounds- July 8

What's good?

Street sounds was dope today as usual.  DJ B-Mello was playin cuts all night.  But I will give you a few of the extra ill ones:

Little Brother -  Good Clothes    Rapper Big Pooh & Phonte rippin it about  something we all enjoy, good clothes.  I  don't care what cats say, I think LB will sound just as good, if not better, without 9th on the boards.  Just peep all their latest material for the evidence of that.

Serius Jones- Get It How You Live  This track is HARD!  I knew Serius was killin the battles, but I had no idea dude comes so raw in the booth.  Peep this joint 4sho.

50 Cent- I Get Money   50 is back and this time he's got even more dough to brag about.  Whether or not you feel Fiddy, ya can't deny that this beat is serious.  I'm actually excited to peep his upcoming album, Curtis.

Ap 9 came to the studio today.  He is a very cool dude who has been doin it big in the Bay with his crew, Mob Figaz, for a minute now.  It was dope hearing about his position.  He's from the Bay but his sound aint close to hyphy.  He got love for hyphy music, that aint what he does tho...plus his chain was crazy.

After that, Topic made an appearance.  He is real cool guy and dope MC.  His beats were crazy and his flow stays in pocket.

You can usually hear a huge difference in quality of music between the signed cats who come in from out of state and the local artists.  I am confident tho that the local ish is sounding better and better.  Our MCs are getting way tighter and of course our producers have been on point for a minute.

Big ups to Redskin the General who is about to film his video for the single Highway.  Look out for me in the vid!   Yo I'm bouts to be in my first rap video.

Peace.
