DJ Bigg Mike

What's crackin?

I had to do my laundry today which was real wack.  I have to go like 7 blocks down to the laundrymat, carrying my huge, heavy bag of clothes in one hand and my detergent in the other.

Where do they get off makin laundrymats so expensive?  It costs me almost $15 just to do mine.  Someone is getting paid off that.  I swear I'm gonna buy a chain of laundrymats in a few years and cash in.  Like Mr. West says, "Wait'll I get my money right."

After laundry I (bet you can't guess) sold CDs.  If ya see me walking around downtown with my backpack and boombox, holler at me.  I almost got run over by the crazy horse and carriage.  Those horses are huge.

What would happen if one of them just went crazy and decided it didn't want to tow around cute couples anymore?  It would be a stampede on 3rd Ave.

Around 7pm I saw Gameboy and his crew hustling cds at Westlake mall.  For those who aint in the know, Gameboy is one of the best in the city at slinging cds on the street.  He has a street team he goes out there with and I must say they are nice at what they do.

They would get in people's faces but they wouldn't be annoying, and they had a knack for talking people into buying the disc even after being told "no" 2 or 3 times.

Luckily for me Gameboy gave me tons of free game.  He was giving me all sorts of advice on how to sling cds.  He was tellin me how to sling to brown people, white people, old folks, kids, families, scenesters and weirdos.  It was hella funny and useful.

One cool thing that happened (be careful this blog's about to get all emotional):

I was trying to sell a cd to this guy who had his daughter on his shoulders.  He almost copped but he aint have no cash so he bounced.

Like 15 min. later he came back with dough because his daughter wanted the cd.  So she bought it from me herself.  She was pretty little but I'm sure she'll dig the mixtape all the same.  It turns out her dad used to be a DJ and so they are both heavy into music.

Shouts to DJ Bigg Mike, wherever you at (couldn't find him on myspace).
